One Long Day

I went and bought a reserved copy of the Final Fantasy XIII guide today–EXCITED about the whole game…even though I don’t have a system yet. (Or the game.)

My sleep appointment went well–despite us getting lost a couple of times.

I’m going to be hooked up and tested on the 18th–because of my severe insomnia and apnea issues:

Problems that have been plaguing me since I can remember and never addressed by either the state, the foster care system, or Social Security.

The job picture for Washington state has only improved slightly this past January. We added 12,000 new jobs for the first time in three years, but the new numbers didn’t make even a dent in our (Snohomish) county’s overall 10.5% unemployment rate.

There’s just too many people applying for any one job–six to one; from what I’ve read and heard.

The President can claim that he’s either created or saved jobs, but those numbers automatically evaporate because they aren’t sustainable by any means!

It doesn’t mean that this new administration’s approach to job creation has fizzled either–according to the hysterical claims by the right, the conservative movement and the GOP.

It just means that this recession is much more severe than anyone could’ve predicted (minus Yours Truly of course) and the job picture isn’t going to improve for several years at the most.

What needs to be fixed, corrected, and addressed is the housing and credit markets.

Without those, we’re just not going to get anywhere with this recession.

The GOP can bitch and whine all they want, but they are the ones whom landed us in this mess to begin with.

Their ideas of lowering taxes and upping the spending levels won’t create jobs OR save this economy.

In fact, it’ll just make things even more worse than when the bubbles broke under Bush’s watch.
