According to ABC, Adam Lambert is Not for Your Entertainment

With exceptions such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks, contestants from American Idol tend to fade from public consciousness shortly after the show’s season finale. Adam Lambert and his recent escapades are certainly making a case that he’s got staying power.

Besides being voted runner-up on season eight of the hit show and coming out in (and scoring the cover of) Rolling Stone, Glambert has caused quite the stir with his performance at last week’s American Music Awards. The stage show featured Adam kissing a male keyboardist, simulating oral sex with a dancer and finishing it all by flipping off the audience at in the venue and at home.

ABC, the network which aired the AMAs, soon canceled Adam’s scheduled performance on Good Morning America, and just pulled his upcoming appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

While he’s a bane to ABC, he was soon scooped up by CBS’ Early Show and has replaced his sit-down with Kimmel for one with Jay Leno on his primetime program.

The controversial contender seems to be a lightning rod for attention from his fans and curious spectators. Will that draw be enough to secure a performance spot for him on another network’s New Year’s Eve special? 68% of voting Predicto Mobile members say yes!

“Maybe on Fox,” says member “thbn2341.”

“He committed career suicide,” says “Genemoney.”
